Any organisation interested in supporting and developing the independent retail sector in the UK is welcome to join the Independent Retailers Confederation.

The IRC is a self-help based group of retail focused organisations and as such there is no membership fee to participate within the Confederation.

The IRC meets formally three times a year, normally in London, to discuss areas of political, commercial and skills opportunities. Separate workshops may be organised by members interested in addressing subjects relevant to their organisations.

IRC members are encouraged to support our activities with the All Party Small Shops Group and the opportunity for political engagement, which these provide.

All IRC members will be incorporated into this website and may make use of any additional promotional benefits that it offers your organisation and the independent retail initiatives you are involved in. (There is an annual cost of £120 per member organisation for website maintenance and administration)

You can find out more about the IRC here or contact us through our representative members to find out more about what we do and joining us.

If you represent a business involved in the independent retail sector, but are not already a member of a trade organisation, why not contact one of our members and participate in the IRC through them.
